Noon and leige

We watched in awe as the proud tower loomed in the horizon.
we drove in an unsaid frenzy to the promised land...
untold serenity and indescribable ecstasies close at hand

the trees seemed to welcome us...
new colors for the toddler...every stone amazed us...

Most of the places already well-worn by memories
But the how magnificently nascent they seemed in our company

we walked from glade to glade..
Euphoric at every cracking twig and rustling leaf blade
we listened to the divine together.
Silence filling our ears..

Ticking minutes tear us away from completion
We shall return one day..again..
It would be more beautiful..
Hued lusciously with anticipation...
The trees waving their best smiles for another day.
