Patience is Now!

Patience is a lovely thing..
the golden haze filtering through the trees...
His graceful gaze upon us all!
Through the thickest of canopies and darkest of nights...
His light will surely give it a fight.

He knows I know no light, now
The kindness that quenches a million thirst
showering in on the most arid of deserts,
On His tender care I trust..

And so in contentment... I wait..
That, the same hands that sprinkle my aisle
beautifully with dead leaves in autumn,
Will wash it indulgently with Rain.
