Sure Shores, Unsure Horizons

Waves systematically lashing the shores..
A gushing crescendo, and a few galloping moments of poignant silence

The salt in the wind making heads turn away from it..
The moist and warm sand, crisp golden brown sunset
All inviting us to stay

Foot prints walking into the sunset..
Two children walking in the sun caressing haze

one little girl with flowing tresses; her long red gown fluttering...
as though incited into a dance with the teasing wind

And the tall man, carefully holding the little girl's hands
and showing the vast ocean to her

a grass land of intuitions and a meadow of innumerable possiblities...
urging the little girl into incrementing wonder..

And in all the lovely stories he eagerly waits for his favorite part
when the girl opens her infant lips in awe...
How important are events without listeners?

Really good one...But I feel you could have added more...something like " I see my long lost childhood through my daughters eyes and gape it wonder at where it all went" :)
